FREWSBURG -- Tuesday night the Varsity Baseball team defeated Randolph 6-5 in the Section VI Class C Pre-Quarter Finals. Playing in Frewsburg due to the Randolph field being unplayable the Raiders got a solid pitching performance from senior Andrew Carmer. It was a great team win as Carmer who threw a complete game while scattering seven hits, striking out 10 and walking three. Kyler Hare, Spencer Moore, Austin Blackley and Josh Bergman all had two hits. A well executed first and third early break trick play, between Mark Sutch and Zach Shaft was the key to scoring the game winning run.
The Raiders will travel to Frewsburg on Thursday to face the #1 seeded Frewsburg Bears at 5:00.
