BARKER -- On Thursday the JV Baseball team rallied from an eight run deficit but fell short and lost a tough game to CSAT, 17-14. Tim Flint pitched very well for the first four innings and Barker got solid relief from Jake Desmarais and Joe Hinton, but it was the Barker defense that struggled to get outs for their pitchers as Barker committed a whopping 16 errors which led to most of the CSAT runs. Flint struck out eight in four innings, surrendered five hits and had three walks. Desmarais struck out four in his 2-1/3 innings of work and Hinton added a strikeout in 2/3 of an inning.

Flint and Chandler Ruffini each had two hits while Zach Golding added two doubles. Jake Elniskey also chipped in with a double. Alonzo St. Louis had two RBI.

Barker is now 0-1 in the NO League and 0-2 overall. The next game will be at home against Akron on April 19 at 4:45.
