    BARKER -- On Thursday afternoon the JV Softball team started their season off with a loss against CCA. Abby Heitzenrater led the way for Barker by hitting a two-run home run. Rheanne Levy, Emily Hollenbaugh and Brooke Targus each had an RBI, while Caitlyn Mason scored two runs. Destinee Hillman and Erika Moeller struck out four batters each.
     
    The Lady Raiders will start league play on Monday when they travel to CSAT.
