Fuerch And Niethe Take Singles Matches Against Purple Eagles
April 27, 2011ALBION -- The Barker Varsity Tennis team defeated Albion on Wednesday, 3-1. Derek Fuerch and Alex Niethe won in straight sets at first and second singles. Matt Hurtgam and Adrian Reyes won at first doubles while Mike Schian dropped a hard fought match at third singles. The other matches were rained out, but the win counts for the league standings. The next match is Thursday at Medina.
