AKRON -- The JV Baseball team, after having lost to Medina in the first game of a double header on Saturday, defeated Akron 14-8 to get a split for the day and get their record back to .500 for the league season. Barker is now 4-5 overall. Alonzo St. Louis picked up the win for the Raiders who were led offensively by Doug Bachman, Jake Desmarais and St. Louis who all had three hits. Desmarais and St. Louis each stole three bases while Desmarais drove in three runs. Tim Flint and Ryan Fannin both had two hits and two RBI. Jake Elniskey had two RBI and Zach Golding added a double.
Barker will host Roy-Hart on Tuesday at 4:45 on the Varsity diamond.
