BARKER -- The Barker Varsity Tennis team picked up a victory on Tuesday against Akron to avenge their earlier loss. Scoring for the Raiders were Matt Hurtgam and Alex Niethe in straight sets at first doubles. Adrian Reyes came from behind to also win his second set and clinch a point, while Derek Fuerch came from down 4-0 in the second set to win six straight games and win the match. Madeline Klatt and Zack Smolinsky played well at second doubles, as did Tayler Gallo and Austin Luczak at third doubles.
The next match is Wednesday at home against Newfane.
