    JV Baseball Struggles On Defense Against Medina

    BARKER -- On Thursday the JV Baseball dropped a 16-4 decision to Medina. Jake Desmarais had a double while Alonzo St. Louis and Jake Elniskey each collected a hit. Tim Flint threw well striking out five in five innings, but the Barker defense struggled in support of their pitcher. The Raiders slipped to 4-8 in the league and 4-9 overall. The team will play the final game at Newfane on Friday at 4:45.

    Tim Flint threw five innings striking out six. Jake Elniskey and Golding both made exceptional catches in the game. Elniskey went hard into foul ground in left field to extend out with a bare hand to catch a foul pop up while Golding hustled to the out of play line near the Roy-Hart dugout to secure and out off of another foul pop up.
