Mia is always willing to help a student who needs help completing a task or understanding a concept, and she does it with kindness and patience. Earlier in the year, I had a student who was struggling overall with the content of the class, and he was seated next to Mia. Mia would always share her notes with him, point to information that he needed, and give him an additional explanation. Once the struggling student began to gain confidence and was able to complete tasks on his own, she also gave him encouraging words such as 'Great job!,' 'You're right!,' 'You did it!,' and 'You've got this!' It was awesome to see."
