WILSON -- The Barker Boys Varsity Track team won a convincing 95-45 victory over Wilson on Wednesday to avenge last year's final race loss. It was the opening meet for Barker. Pacing the boys team with double individual wins were Tyler Scheving in the 400 and 800, Mike Lantinen in the 1600 and 3200, and Xavier Mann in the Long and High Jumps. Single winners included Rutger Moeller in the 110 Hurdles, Jed Platt with a personal best in the Pole Vault, John Austin in the Shotput, and Jake Greenwald in the Discus. Chipping in with relay wins included Platt, Scheving, Jordan Bender and Lantinen in the 3200 Meter Relay, and Scheving, Platt, Seth Russell and Jarid Worthington in the 1600 Meter Relay. The boys' team also got points from six different first time track athletes.
